Covid-19 Protocols and Precautions at 911Programs
Statement of Intent
911Programs takes very seriously the health and safety of our students, staff, and the patients our students come into contact with during clinical rotations,
Protocols and Precautions
The 911Programs Covid-19 Administrator monitors the current information and recommendations from the Rhode Island Department of Health, Department of Business Regulation, and the Rhode Island Office of the Post-secondary Commissioner. As these recommendations change with updated guidelines, we amend our policies and protocols.
Accommodations
If a student has covid-like symptoms or tests positive, the student can train at home using our virtual learning platform. This way, students do not have to drop out of a course or fall behind. If a scheduled teacher has symptoms or a positive test, the entire class session may be delivered virtually if no alternate teacher is available last minute.
For hands-on portions of training, students will be able to book individual lab sessions once they are well enough to return to class.
